A short blog post from me? Yes! Just wanted everyone to know we are in North Carolina, safe from Hurricane Ian. We did not plan on arriving in Fort Myers until mid October.

We are very concerned about our park, Siesta Bay, which is included in a mandatory evacuation zone in Lee County. We are receiving updates from park management and watching the news closely.

Our lot will likely flood, but we have neighbors in manufactured homes and trailers that will be more at risk.
